Frequency of EFT

Keep in mind that releasing should be an ONGOING practice, and
certainly not limited to 3 times a week. Whenever you're in any kind
of upset, that's the time to do EFT if at all possible.

Also, use ALL the sessions in the book, not just the ones that feel
right - and make sure you're really allowing the feelings to surface,
and that you're bringing your intensity down to as close to a zero as possible.

Coupons, Discount Stores, and LOA

This is a very common misconception. There is nothing "wrong" with
using coupons or shopping at discount stores. It's still all about
what YOU'RE vibrating. Personally, I consider finding deals a
wonderful way that the Universe provides abundance. Now if your
mentality is "scraping and just getting by", and that's what drives
you to use coupons and shop at discount stores, that's clearly
sending a different signal than "Look how MUCH I can get now!"

The Law of Attraction isn't about spending as much money as possible.
And there's certainly no rule that says that coupons will cause the
work you're doing with the Law of Attraction to be for nothing!

Again, it's all about what you're vibrating. :-)

Questions about creating online passive income...

> > > I am quite excited about the concept, though - but what if what you > > love to do can't be translated into an eBook or website? How then do > > you earn passive income from it? > > > > For example, my passion is creating beautiful period homes from run- > > down neglected ones (Recycling Houses!) I'd be very interested to > > learn how to translate that passion into a stream of passive income. > >

The first thing to realize is that are a whole community of people who share that passion, or would be intrigued and interested in the concept, AND that countless numbers of these people are online.

Given that, they're probably researching the topic, looking for information, looking at what others are up to, etc. because it's something they're interested in!

The opportunity for someone in your position is to create an online "destination" for people with these interests. An idea that immediately comes to mind is to create a Blog on the subject of recycling houses. Here you can share your thoughts, ideas, pictures of projects you've undertaken, etc.

But you can take it further. You most likely use certain materials, products, or whatever to do the work you do. Perhaps you have certain manufacturers you like more than others. Over time you've probably developed a good bit of expertise in this whole area.

Product reviews, expert opinions, etc. are all things people seek out online. And on the back end of those things, numerous business relationships can be created with people in your industry. You'd know better than me what those relationships might be, but they're there.

Further, why couldn't you write an e-book on home recycling? In these "green" days, this information is HOT. You could write the book, make it available through your blog, even create an affiliate program to give others incentive to share your blog and your book.

Add things like "Google Adsense" to your blog, and you've got still another revenue stream. And all you're doing is finding another way to explore, share, and build on your passion!

And once you start taking this kind of action inside your passion, be ready for all kinds of other opportunities to show themselves that you can't even yet imagine.

Basically it boils down to this: SHARE your passion for recycling homes in a big way, and you'll be rewarded in many unforeseeable ways!

EFT not working for you?

The whole topic of "EFT not working" comes up from time to time, and
nearly 100% of the time, that assessment is not accurate.

Something many people find extremely helpful is actually tapping on
the belief/feeling that EFT is not working or does not work.

"Even though EFT doesn't work for me..."
"Even though I don't deserve for this process to be so easy for me..."
"Even though I'm stuck and EFT won't work for me..."
"Even though EFT works for others but not for me..."
"Even though I believe that if I'm stuck, I won't have to move
forward in my life..."

These are actually very powerful EFT phrases that can bring up deep
feelings of "I don't deserve this...", "things have to be hard...",
"I'll never get what I want..."

Also, be absolutely sure that you are measuring the level of
intensity of a given emotion before and after you do a round of EFT.
Even the SLIGHTEST movement is significant, and can propel you to
keep going on the process until things shake loose.

I'm one who believe that EFT will work (and does work) for anyone, if
used properly, persistently, and on the issues that really are
causing the significant blocks.

How can a child attract death?

The law of attraction is obviously universal and affects all, and many people ask " how did I attract death?" or something abstract like that or basically something unwanted and the common answer is " your beliefs and you were in vibrational resonance with death etc." " You knew death as a part of life and you believed it would come at some point." This raises the question, lets say a child who comes into this world, who has no previous beliefs or habits or experiences of death. This child does not know death exists. How does it come to be that this child attracts death? How can you be in vibrational resonance with something you don't know exists. How does one even attract the parents you are born to? Please can you provide some answers to these questions.

Being in resonance with something does not require that you have any conscious knowledge about it. There's a lot of Energy that we're "interacting" with on a regular basis that has nothing to do with our conscious thoughts, and even unconscious thoughts.

There are probably countless number of variables that affect our vibration when we're not conscious of them.

And I'm assuming this "child" in your example is hypothetical, but one also ultimately has to take responsibility for the fact that the experience of the child's death (hearing about it, being there, doesn't matter - whatever level your experience is) has become a part of YOUR experience. So you didn't have anything to do with the child's death, but you DID attract the experience of that death in your own experience.

So the more important question is not - why did that child die (though I understand why you'd think it would be - but remember, this is a hypothetical example), but why you are having the experience.

This is a tough one to explain, and clearly goes far beyond the LOA basics and probably deserves some more advanced discussion in the future as part of the upcoming curriculum changes.

How much specificity?

>>I recently interviewed for a job I REALLY want...When I read the
>>job description it was like it was written for me. So, when I
>>revised my list I added this job to the top of the list, very
>>specifically. It basically reads "I am so grateful that I am a
>>__________ (job position) for the ___________(company). Is that
>>too specific? Any advice on how to let go and not question whether
>>or not I will get the job every day? I could really use some help on this.

You've got to remember that the only thing that the Universe is
responding to is your vibration....not the pictures in your head, or
what's written on your lists, etc.

Specificity is stressed sometimes to make sure that you are truly
clear on what it is that you want, and how that will make you feel.

I find that for some people, specificity works great, but with
others, it tends to be more of a "chore", or in some other way
generates resistance.

All this to say that this is no one "right way". You have to do what
it takes for YOU to get into that feeling space of what you want. In
this case, I'd try to get the most clear on WHY you feel this is the
"perfect" job, and what's going to mean for you to have it, how
you'll feel, AND to NOT get attached to it having to be THIS JOB that
brings you that feeling.

If this truly IS you're dream job - just waiting for you to step into
it - then the more detachment you have to it, the less resistance
you'll have, and the more likely you are to be pulled into it.

Visualizing "no debt"

I have purchased your book Wealth beyond reason, which I found to be very interesting.  It explains to me all that I believe in.

I fully endorse your theories.

However I have a question to ask you.

I have a joinery business but at this moment in time I am heavily in debt and I am also owed substantial amounts of money.

How do I visualize not being in debt, and also how do I think and visualize the money that is owed to me to come in??

It is easy for me to visualize something tangible, like a car.

The first thing you need to be doing is releasing resistance on an ongoing basis...and I'm quite
sure there is a substantial amount going on by the way you describe your situation.

In these situations people often also get very stuck in trying to
"figure out a solution", which has them focused on the problem rather than
in vibrational alignment with a solution.

While it will probably be a bit challenging at first, you need to get
into the practice of releasing any of the negative feelings associated
with your situation - either with EFT or some other releasing method.

Then you'll be better able to create a vision of what you truly
want and get into THAT feeling rather than the one you are in. That's
when new possibilities or ideas will come to you on action you
can take, or ways you can "be" that will shift your vibration
significantly which will most likely have OTHERS experience you
differently.

In your situation, I'd suggest that a change in your vibration will
allow you to receive the money that you are owed...but again,
this all assumes a real shift in your vibration and a lowering of
substantial resistance.

This type of resistance can absolutely slow things down for you,
particularly if this is a core belief. I'm not asking you to change
your core belief, but to consider that we (and everything else) can
never be anything BUT part of the Source. There are many who
interpret the teachings of Christ to be very much in alignment with
these ideas (though as you know, that particular text can be
interpreted in MANY ways).

Did you happen to watch our recent video on Religion and the Law of Attraction?

Kathleen, it's not "mandatory" to speak. Speaking, like thinking and
acting, help to align you vibrationally with what you want. However
it probably is NOT appropriate to walk around "speaking" to people
that you have found the ideal person (and this applies to anything,
not just people)...as that would clearly be met with a lot of
resistance both from the people you're talking to who see no evidence
for what you're saying, and yourself, because you'd feel silly, or
like a liar, or something along those lines.

In this type of case, I'd say to utilize other methods for getting
into alignment with having met this person. Our Experiential
Meditation would be a good start if you haven't gotten into that yet.
In any case, don't get hung up on the speaking part of this. The only
thing that's important is that your vibration align with what you
want to attract, and there are many ways to do that.

Hope this helps,

Getting relaxed and calm is a starting point. Where you're ending up
is perfect. :-)

It's not "necessary"...but it does seem to really be a good one for
some people.
Try it without and see what kind of results you get.

There are really not that many "rules" with EFT. Once you know the technique,
it will be a process of discovering for yourself which points work the best
and which types of setup phrases work well for you.

Not Negative or Positive

>
>Hello Bob Doyle,

>attraction will observe " I want to be successful" - this seems very
>contraindicating to me.

It's not that the Universe responds to the opposite. It's always
responding to your vibration, which is determined by your emotions.

If, for example, you say "I don't want debt", then your FEELING is
all about the debt you don't want...you're experiencing the feeling
of having debt and resisting it. That's what we mean when we say the
Universe doesn't hear "don't". It doesn't respond to words - it
responds to feelings/vibrations. Whether you say you want debt or
don't want debt, the feeling is that "I have debt" and that's what
you are in resonance with, and thus attract.

Same with the shirt example. If you say you don't want to spill
things on my shirt, you're in the feeling space of how frustrated
you'd be if you did - so you're basically in resonance with spilling
things on your shirt.

Does that make sense?

It's not an issue of "confusing the Universe", which can't
happen anyway. The way that your vision is evolving and
getting more detailed is totally natural, and appropriate.

You are "fine-tuning" the vibration associated with the
feeling you want to achieve. The thing to remember is to
not get attached to those specific details, but realize that
those details ARE helping you get into vibrational alignment
with what you truly want.

Detachment is always linked to resistance. Detachment
doesn't mean you don't want something. It means that you're
in a total state of allowance for the Universe to deliver
whenever and HOWever, and in the most efficient manner
possible. The more attached we are to a specific outcome -
as if it MUST happen or you won't be happy - the more
we're in a state of resistance...we're not in alignment with
the feeling that we truly want to have, and so the process
slows and sometimes stops because you literally have a
"force field" up.

The process has evolved a lot, and continues to. Carol's
method is a shortcut, and most practitioners use shortcuts,
rather than the full "Basic Recipe", and even Gary Craig
hardly ever usese the 9-gamut point. Still, there is value in
knowing the whole process, though you will rarely use it
in your everyday practice.

As Bob Proctor suggests in The Secret, one of the best things you can
do is put yourself on an automated debt repayment plan so that you're
no longer thinking about the debt all the time. You'll know that
action is being taken in that area, and you'll be freed up
vibrationally to perhaps creatively create a few more revenue streams
for yourself that will make the process even easier. (You might want
to listen to http://www.wealthbeyondreason.com/moneystuff.html if you
haven't already. I'm not trying to sell you on the program mentioned,
because I don't want to cause even more feelings that you might
associate with your debt, but you might get some value out of the
audio information there.

Actually, I don't put much focus on "higher" or "lower" vibration
terminology, as it doesn't really matter. Resonance is not about a
specific frequency, or whether it's high or low or whatever.
Resonance is a much more complicated issue of (and this is very hard
to describe in words) how energy "feels" at a specific vibration, to
OTHER energy at a specific vibration.

If the energy/vibration feels "good" (for lack of a better term), it
resonates, and tends to attract...just like we are attracted to music
that hits us at an emotional level. That emotion is a very specific
MOVEMENT in energy which happened because the energy that is "you"
and the energy that is "the music" RESONATES.

It's the same thing when you're attracted to other people. You may be
total opposites from an aspect of personality, but your ENERGY
RESONATES and there is an attraction. It doesn't matter if it's
vibrating at a high frequency or a low frequency. If it all "works"
together, there is an experience of attraction.

Do you think it's a coincidence that when you're attracted to a
person, and then when you think about that person in a positive way,
that your whole Energy shifts, and you really feel GOOD...on many
levels besides just general well-being.

"Bad Things" and the Law of Attraction

Dear Bob

I have a question I hope you will be able to help me with. It might of come up many times before, but when I am asked about it I am at a loss for a credible explanation.

Its all good and well to give the law of attraction credit when things go well, but what about the things that are hard to believe we attract. An example is all the people who died in the Tsunami 2 years ago. How do you try to explain to someone that they attracted the event in some way? What about a country like South Africa, where the crime is so high, and so many women get raped each day. How do you explain that person attracted that situation? Is it just that the Law of attraction, although a great tool to use in life, cannot explain or account for everything?
What about people living in places in Africa where they live in poverty - can the law of attraction help them out of a situation like that ?

Hope you are able to help with these questions.

The Law of Attraction is not inherently about attracting on purpose. Most people are definitely attracting by default at a totally unconscious level.

We don't just attract things that we want. We attract things that we are in ALIGNMENT with at a vibrational level. We don't always get in alignment with things on purpose. If we don't know about the Law of Attraction and that we can have a level of conscious control over what we're vibrating, we're most likely going to align with the predominant vibration around us.

This is how we pick up limiting beliefs in the first place. We learn them from those around us. We just assume they are true and they become a part of our vibration and we attract accordingly.

If a person lives in a society where "bad things happen" all the time, they are very likely to believe that "bad things happen all the time", and that belief becomes a part of their vibration, and thus they attract accordingly. So entire societies can become in alignment with certain things happening because no one knows (or at least not enough people to make a significant difference) that things can be any other way.

Children will be in alignment with the vibrations of their parents most of the time. If the parents have a great deal of resistance in certain areas, that resistance is very likely going to become a part of that child's experience as well. Did the child ASK for this? No. Did then INTENTIONALLY attract it? No. But the attraction process IS still going on. It's ALWAYS going on.

The Law of Attraction allows anyone to change ANY situation, however there is often so much resistance going on, that it would SEEM to be an impossible feat. But it's not. It's just that the Universe responds to a person's predominant vibration, and short bursts of positive thinking cannot sustain a vibration that will attract significant change.

What needs to occur is that the world needs to get educated on the Law of Attraction. What it is, and what it's not. They need to understand that it's not some "feel good / personal development" theory, but a powerful physical law that literally holds our experience of the world together.  When they can get past the hyperbole of the Law of Attraction and really understand it, then significant changes can occur on the planet.

Right now though, it's most important that we as individuals start to learn to shape our OWN experience of reality - because until we do that, we're not going to have the same ability to make a profound impact on the rest of the world - which, by the way is your OWN interpretation of what's really going on out there - and in reality is a grand illusion based on how you're interpreting the Energy around you, filtered through your own belief system.

When it comes down to it, it's truly not our place to even try to interpret why things happen to other people, as it only brings us into alignment with those things we're trying to figure out - and while that doesn't mean that you'll then experience those things yourself, you're going to be in alignment with continually hearing about those things - and you'll be vibrationally stuck trying to figure out why other people are attracting the way they are. Your experience of the world will be that bad things are constantly happening. This is a choice you make when you choose to put your attention on it.

I'm not saying that one should always look the other way. Sometimes when we hear about something that we perceive as "bad", we experience an inspired call to action. The news awakens something within us that is in alignment with our sense of purpose and we know that we can make a difference. This is COMPLETELY different than emotionally wallowing in the bad news, wondering WHY WHY WHY, and taking no action that benefits anyone at all.

Each one of us is an interpretation machine. We are bundles of Energy in human form, interpreting the rest of the Energy in the Universe, filtering information through our belief systems, and shaping our experience of reality. But it's OUR reality. The fact is, we don't really know what's going on "out there". But we are creating our own truth about what's going on. If we aren't careful, we can shape a truth that is unsatisfying, full of frear, worry, and doubt, and truly miss the incredible experience we're here to have.

The Wealth Beyond Reason program is all about waking people up to these facts. The movie "The Secret" has the same goal; to show people that if you're in a place in your life that you don't like, you can do something about it. It's not about blaming anyone by saying "Well, YOU attracted it." It's about attempting to communicate in a loving way that there are forces at work that allow things to become part of your experience, and if you're unaware of them, things seem out of control. But a small shift in awareness can begin to shift everything.

But you have to start with yourself.

Hope this helps.

Bob

Take Inspired action

I'm not an advocate of just sitting around waiting for things to happen. I'm a proponent of taking Inspired Action.

Very often the LOA DOES occur somewhat "magical" and things can seem to come from nowhere with no real action having been taken. More often though, you facilitate the attraction process through taking inspired action - which is action that occurs to you to take in a more intuitive way.

You'll get ideas (from nowhere?) to do something, call someone, go somewhere... An idea for a book, or new business will occur...All in response to your "putting it out there" as an emotionally charged intention. This IS the attraction process at work. Your "job" is to act when you are so inspired to. And the action will feel good - it will be fun, though it may not be 100% clear as to HOW this action will result in the final manifestation of what you're after.

Second guessing the inspiration will slow you down.

Inspired Action

By action, do you mean >look in the paper for another job with better hours? Quit this >Job? Help! Or is action taking this course? >Trying Hard

First, stop trying hard. It won't serve you. You want to be in vibrational resonance with JOY (I'm guessing), not a feeling of hard work. If you're "feeling" hard work now, you're only going to attract more things that bring you that feeling.

Next: Inspired Action.

We talk a LOT about inspired action, because it is so often the means by which the Universe flows through us and facilitates the manifestation process.

Inspired action is action that truly does feel intuitive. It will often occur as a thought that makes you think, "Where did THAT come from??"

It should be action that "feels right", hopefully is fun and engaging, and speaks you in some other way.

The idea is to ACT on that inspiration when it truly feels RIGHT.

If the thought of quitting your job feels "bad", then there is too much resistance going on to feel safe in making a move like that, and if you DON'T feel safe, then you will attract all kinds of stuff you most definitely do NOT want.

The action you take will not always seem to have anything at ALL to do with your desires. It's not your job to figure out the logic. Your job is to honor what you're attracting and move along the flow of events, always in an inspired way.

That doesn't mean the "inspiration" will always feel profound or dramatic. I simply am referring to thoughts that come to you that are more intuitive or "out of the blue" - and feel GOOD.

Many times, they will occur as creative ideas. Ideas that will allow you to somehow express who you truly are to the world. You may not see "any money it it", or perhaps you may not see how taking this idea into action will lead you where you ultimately want to go. But you should take the action! Because it will feel good, shift your vibration into alignment with feeling good, and help you to attract more GOOD things that are in alignment with whatever your "ultimate" vision is, even if it seems to change on a regular basis...which is normal.

Anything that you're not clear on, you should do some EFT or other release work on...so that you can be sure that your decisions to take action or not are as clear of resistance as possible. Resistance will slow you down, and make you mistrust yourself. So the more EFT you do, the better.

This whole thing is such an important part of my personal story, so I'm particularly passionate about explaining it properly.

I hope this helps to clear things up for you.

The science of channeling.

To address your question of the science of channeling.

I think that like many aspects of how the Universe works, that chaneling has been put into a mystical or even "occult"-type category, and therefore makes a lot of people nervous.

And of course some people who channel professionally can sometimes play on this to make it more mysterious or whatever. I'm not saying that's wrong, or that anyone doing this has anything other than the best intentions, and for all I know they are interpreting this information as coming from another "entity".

To me, channeling is simply a flow of energy in the form of information...and the only "entity" involved is the Universe itself.

When we get inspired ideas, we are attracting energy that is in vibrational resonance with our feelings in the moment. Often that energy will flow through us and out of us in the form of ideas, writing, speaking, etc. There's nothing "other-worldly" about it at all in my opinion.

I firmly believe that when I sit down to write lectures, etc. that because I am in vibrational resonance with having the topic firmly in mind, with an intent to find the language necessary to best explain or communicate a topic, that I become in vibrational resonance with "informational energy" if you will that my brain interprets as thoughts and words.

I "dis-engage" intellectually as I write or speak, and just let it flow. I don't put a "name" on it, and I don't telling people I'm "channeling". I'm just letting it flow - and everyone does that to some extent. We all have ideas and thoughts that seem to come from nowhere, and when put into action seem somehow bigger than we are - or go beyond anything we've "learned" in the traditional sense.

To me, channeling just means that we're allowing energy to flow through us, as we do all the time, but in the form of words or ideas.

I hope this helps to explain my position on this. :-)

I hope that you DO realize that the presentation of ideas has nothing at all to do with their validity.

I am aware that there are several errors in the Happy Pocket book, as well as WBR. I don't have any control over the Happy Pocket stuff, but the latest version of the WBR book HAS been proofed and I'm not sure which errors you're referring to (though I know the hardcopy still has a lot of errors in it).

In my case, when I communicate, I do it with passion and enthusiasm and you are correct that I don't always stop to edit myself. Many people stop themselves from fully succeeding or reaching goals because they believe that everything has to be "perfect" first. This is a very "human" idea that completely stops people from really being able to FEEL who they are.

Remember that grammar, etc. is a MAN-MADE idea - and that the Universe doesn't care one bit how things are spelled or written. It responds to vibration and that is all.

With so much content in our program, it would be too cumbersome (at least at this stage) to make sure every word is perfect. I do know that there are several like you who are stopped by this, and while I can appreciate your point of view, I also have honor my own sense of passion and purpose - which is to disseminate information.

Having said all that, the time is coming where all the content WILL be looked at by professional proofers after I create it, and that the corrections will be made.

Right now however, I just completed a house move and have fallen way behind on student e-mail and content creation. Getting back up to speed must be my number 1 priority at this time.

Glad to hear that you are tapping on your frustration with the grammar issues. Just please see the bigger picture that all of that is simply semantics, and has no Universal impact on any outcome except to the extent that you give it the power to do so.

I appreciate the kind words in your e-mail, and I hope that you can continue to enjoy and see results from utilizing the material and the essence of its message.

Questions about perceived inconsistencies

> > >Comments: > > Dear Bob: The Secret is inspirational, yet a few aspects of it > are confusing. I'm drawn to the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and > the Power of Now. Yet in the Secret, if we're > visualizing/fantasizing about "the future" (a Ferrari, a million > $$, or soulmate) doesn't that take us into fantasy and not reality, > not the present moment?

The idea is to bring the feelings associated with those visualization INTO the Now moment, and not project them into the future, and certainly not mentally label them as fantasy. To bring yourself into alignment with something you must focus your feelings in the Now. This is not really an inconsistency at all.

>I've learned through my yoga practice that we should not deny >feelings (feel mad, sad, glad... don't deny feelings); yet the >Secret seems to be saying "as soon as you have a "negative emotion" >change it. Isn't that denying the human experience and totality >of emotions we will feel?

That's overstating it a bit. The negative emotions are most definitely there for a reason. They are our guidance that we are out of alignment with what brings us joy. We use those feelings to alert us that a change needs to be made in our vibrational state if we are going to realign with well-being.

>And finally, if, for example I have a fearful thought about being >poor, "I don't want to be poor" -- why would the universe, with all >its intelligence and power, mistake or misinterpret that thought >for the very opposite -- "I want to be poor" -- How could the most >intelligent energy source completely misconstrue that???

It has nothing at all to do with the words you use. It's not so much that the Universe doesn't "hear the word don't". It's that YOU are in a vibrational state of feeling poor if you're telling yourself that you don't want to be, and as long as that's the state you're in, that is what you will attract.

These are all great questions, and very common one's for people who are just getting introduced to the Law of Attraction, or at least just starting to get more intentional about implementing the principles.

Easily manifest $1000, but not a jet

My recommendation is pretty simple. You're doing everything right, aside from paying any attention to the fact that those "bigger" things aren't there yet. Expect them, but don't wonder why they aren't here yet...because it's the SECOND vibration that is getting you into trouble.

I would say to stay more focused on the feeling that you think the jet and cash will bring you - and then don't rely on the jet and cash to bring you those feelings. Allow an INFINITE number of possibilities to occur that will give you that SAME feeling, or better, with no feeling of disappointment if the jet and cash aren't what created that feeling.

Does that make sense? I'm NOT saying the jet and cash won't come, but I feel more a sense of attachment from you on these things then the "smaller" ones like $1000.

Gratitude Lists

At 09:39 AM 2/4/2007, you wrote:
Hello

Is there a place where there are sample gratitude lists, i would like to start my own and kind of feel stuck to start.

Actually, I have not posted sample lists, which I probably should. :-)

The idea is to feel the gratitude in all that you DO have right now, and really appreciate it. That emotion of gratitude will put you in a vibrational state where you'll naturally and effortlessly attract more things for which you will feel grateful. So start your lists with the obviously things - family, health, etc. - and then continue with the smaller things:

"I'm grateful for fresh water to drink."
"I'm grateful for salt and pepper."
"I'm grateful for being able to breathe easily."

...and things along these lines. The idea is to really wake up a TRUE sense of gratitude within you, with things you can readily accept as being yours right now. Sitting inside of this feeling on a regular basis will make it easier for you to feel grateful for "having" all the things you're wanting to attract.

Trust me. It's a really powerful exercise to sit inside a genuine feeling of gratitude.

Do you have some exercises to make the pictures clearer, last longer, so that the energy can be
more consistent. I want the energy from my intentions to be stronger, and to manifest a little quicker
from doing this kind of exercise.

Don't get too hung up on the "quality" of the pictures when you visualize them. They are just there to help you generate a feeling. Think about how strongly you can feel just remembering something from your past. Even though you may not have a clear picture of it in your mind, the emotion is still there.

You're really just trying to generate the emotion you ultimately hope to match by manifesting whatever you're after. While it might help a little if your mental pictures were crystal clear, you don't need to make that a "requirement" for yourself in order to evoke the emotions associated with what you're visualizing.

Definitely normal at first. Just don't try to fight it. This would be a great time to do the EFT process...WHILE the negative stuff comes up.

>Second, the EFT. I want to believe in the EFT, but I seem to have blocks in >allowing myself to believe in this "silly" (sorry) tapping.

I totally understand. You may not be having results because you're so busy focusing on the silliness of it, that you're not allowing yourself to fully tune into the feeling that should be at the surface when you're working on an issue...so the process isn't really doing as much as it can.

If you've watched the video demonstration of EFT, or even looked at the diagram that you can download from Brad Yates' site, I wouldn't worry about the "tapping in the right place" thing.

It's always going to be good to find a "better thought" when a negative one occurs, but when the situation warrants, doing something like EFT is much better than simply turning away from the feelings that come up - because unless you ultimately deal with the source of the resistance, then it will just continue to come up. EFT allows you to deal with it in such a way that it's potentially gone for GOOD.

Attracting a specific person

At 02:04 AM 1/24/2007, you wrote:
Hi Bob,

My question to you is could you please suggest a set up phrase for me to use as an EFT for the purpose of attracting this particular girl that i want in my life(she is with someone at this present time)

It is absolutely not appropriate, nor will it work, to try to "realign" another person's vibration. If the relationship that you want is not what she wants then you are not in vibrational resonance, and EFT is not going to change that.

Your job is to be clear on the FEELING that you believe being with this particular person is going to give you, and then be open to attracting ANYONE that will be in alignment with that. You don't serve yourself by being attached to this one person, as if nobody else could provide you the fulfillment that you believe this person can. The fact is, she's currently with someone else, for whatever reasons. It is now time for you to allow infinite possibility, without being detached.

I might suggest setup phrases like:

"Even though it HAS to be this person or I won't be happy...."
"Even though I'm not good enough, and that's why she's with someone else..."
"Even though I'm hurt that she is not with me..."

These types of phrases will help you to "detach" from your happiness being
dependant on attracting a particular person, and will allow you to most
effectively attract someone who is truly in vibrational alignment with the
type of relationship you really want.

Meditation and EFT Questions

There is really no "rule". It's all about finding the one that put YOU into the most realistic and emotionally satisfying vibration as you're listening. It may differ from session to session.

> >2) I do use the EFT throughout the two main meditations you have on >the course.

You don't have to, but I think using it with the Experiential meditation from time to time is probably the most effective combination.

>Is it best to always begin the EFT with a negative statement before >a reinforcing positive one?

Again, there's not an "always". You might just try it different ways and see which approach allows you to decrease the level of emotional intensity the best. Again, this could differ between sessions, depending on the issue.

>Would a simple "you are wealth, you are abundance, you are joy" >statement over and over while doing EFT be sufficient?

I doubt it. It's too generic. While it might bring up some issue or resistance, I think it's better to be more specific with regards to what you're trying to attract.

> >3) When I switch to the alphatheta or deltatheta mix, I like to >write down my goals for the day and other dreams that I desire. Is >that a good idea, or should I just continue to cleanse my thoughts >first anyway (maybe more EFT)?

There's no real reason to try to cleanse your thoughts before the meditation when you can use EFT throughout the meditation process when the resistance is likely to be the most "potent".

Magnetics, Like Attracts Like?

One of the things I always try to stress when I talk about the Law of Attraction (though it didn't make the cut of the movie) that "like attracts like" is NOT how the law of attraction works. It sometimes occurs like that, but attraction is about vibrational frequencies being in RESONANCE. This does NOT mean they are going to be identical. Just as you accept ideas that "resonate" with you, or enjoy music that "resonates" with you, in this way we attract things into our experience that we are in resonance with. It is through the adjustment of our vibration through our emotions that we become in resonance with the things we're working to attract.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Fear of leaving job, Eliminating Debt

At 03:39 PM 11/14/2006, you wrote:
Hi Bob,

  1. Despite working with the Law of Attraction for a year, I am having trouble raising my predominant vibration.  I know you will understand when I say that I am in a job (insurance claims) that feels completely out of alignment.  Because of other training (University of Santa Monica), I have been working on acceptance of where I am, personal responsibility, owning my own  projections and self-forgiveness for over three years.  I have also worked with the Sedona Method and EFT to reach a level of acceptance.  Although I’ve made some progress I feel as if my resistance to my current situation is also acting as a barrier to what I want.  I’ve set intentions, done segment intending and all other sorts of things.  Leaving now does not feel like an option because I am also beset by fear regarding my finances.  I understanding that leaving in the midst of fear will only bring me more  to be fearful of.  Do you have any suggestions on how I can breakthrough what seems to be a wall of resistance?

You mentioned doing EFT for self-acceptance issues, but how much have you done for the fear of leaving? If your focus is on your fear, then you won't be freed up creatively to create NEW income options for yourself. It seems you've still got some level of attachment to a JOB being your primary source of income.

  1. In working with my intentions, I have tried setting monetary goals.  These don’t seem to work that well for me and I understand the you don’t recommend them.  Right now I have realized that the most important thing for is to get out of debt.  Working towards abundance seems to have been too much of a leap for me.  I understand that affirmations and intentions need to be framed in the positive.  Right now I am working with the affirmation – “I am debt-free.”  Do you think that phrasing will bring more debt because of the use of the word?  Right now it’s the best I can come up with because working with “I have a positive net worth” has not worked well for me.

Yes, if your focus is on becoming debt-free, then you still have your focus on debt. Bob Proctor has great advice in The Secret. Set up SOME kind of automated debt-reduction plan, and FORGET about it, and focus on feeling abundant. There IS no other way around it. It worked for me, and I started with 60k in debt. I spent a lot of time focusing on becoming debt-free. Didn't work. What worked was allowing myself to creatively come up with new streams of revenue which built over time to a point where I could write checks that would pay off the debt - but my focus was on the prosperity being created, not the debt that was being eliminated.

Basically I have all of these tools which I know work – I understand quite a bit about the Law of Attraction.  But I still find myself feeling in the crapper.  I also know that feeling that way is not helping – that accepting my situation and finding a way to be happy now is the best option.  But I still feel lost.

I think there are probably several areas that you could be utilizing EFT that you aren't thinking about. Have you been through the 30-day Clearing process in the members area?

This is common, and so is your reaction. However getting disappointed does not serve you in the least, though I understand why you go there.

First, "Pending an inspection" does not make it a done deal, and assuming so is an indication of some remaining resistance. I know from experience that it's not sold till it's sold and that often deals fall through at the closing tables. That's just one thing to consider.

But that still doesn't mean you'll end up in the house immediately.

You have to remember that what you're "vibrating" is the ideal scenario for being in that house, and it may very well be that other things have to happen FIRST for the situation to be in true vibrational resonance with your vision.

For example, I'm sure you're imagining the house to be nearly perfect and without annoying problems. Consider the possibility that someone ELSE needs to get into the house first so that THEY disocover the problem and deal with it, making the house more in alignment with what you're really picture. Again, this is just an arbitrary example of OTHER possibilities.

The issue here is that you were very quick to assume that something was "wrong" because you saw the words "pending inspection", etc. Like it was over and the Universe was not responding.

It's ALWAYS responding. However, your reactions to things ALSO cause responses. If you are so quick to assume, "It's not mine", then THAT is what you immediately begin to vibrate, and thus attract. Fueled by the intensity of emotion you're clearly feeling about it, this is most likely not the direction you want to go.

Again, while I understand your disappointment, it's your reaction that should be giving you some feedback about other areas of resistance that you can probably be working on. Your reaction shows a great deal of attachment to having the house...not that wanting it is wrong, but allowing a few words read on paper to sway your vibration so dramatically is indicative of some doubts that this is actually going to work for you - and those doubts were obviously there at SOME level the entire time for them to surface so quickly.

Is this making sense? The underlying doubts that WERE there at some level also have an affect on your vibration. Now of course this is speculation because I don't know anything about you personally or your past, or what in your life might have created various areas of resistance.

The point is for you to be open to thinking in a more "infinite possibility" manner.

>And, why do all the Lotto winners (which I've decided will be my way >to achieve the wealth I want the most quickly), always say "I never >thought I'd win"? If that's their vibe, what does that say about the >Law of Attraction?

That's not exactly how the Law of Attraction works. We don't expect to stub our toes either, but it happens. It's still all about vibrational resonance. If they TRULY believed they'd never win, they'd have never bought a ticket.

However, there words COULD be an indication of DETACHMENT from winning. They buy their tickets for fun, they have a fun little dream of winning, and they become in resonance with winning. They don't clog up the process by worrying about winning, or putting any thought toward NOT winning. It's simply less resistance.

Of course time always tells how in vibrational resonance lottery winners REALLY are to WEALTH. They can be in resonance with winning, but NOT in resonance with keeping it!

>These are a couple of my concerns which make me hesitate to order >your program. If I was really working the program -- and loving it >-- what's up with my house being sold? Why would getting your >program make it any different?

Because we all but jump through the Internet and force you to release the areas of resistance that are acting as that "Force Field" against what you're trying to attract.

>I realize it's ME, not the program, that attracts what I want -- but >I'm shaken now that I haven't received my 'winnings', and my house is >being sold.

And again - it's not a done deal, although that doesn't mean to get attached to the house again.

Remember that what you're REALLY going for with the house and anything else you're trying to attract is a FEELING. Doing all the visualizing and picture-cutting are tools to help you generate that feeling you wish to attract. And that is what you WILL attract as long as you don't shift gears in the middle of the process because you have chosen to interpret some external evidence as bad news.

What I'm saying is that it's also possible that you will attract another house that will ACTUALLY provide you to feelings you're looking for, but for now the house you've been looking at is a great tool for helping you to generate those feelings.

So it might not be THAT house - but a better one that is at this very moment (as long as you let go of your disappointment) continuing it's way toward you...

Car Repossessed, Frugality, Things Collapsing

Bob,

I would further rationalize it by saying to myself that I was good at credit repair and that I could fix my credit.  My ego was telling me lies to keep this lack consciousness alive and well.  This is totally clear for me now.  I had my car repossessed this morning because of this type of thinking.  Isnt it bizarre that my car was repossessed today while the money is in the bank to pay for it?
I have some concerns when it comes to what I am attracting.  Is the concern that I may still be attracting lack subconsciously attracting more lack?

This seems tailor-made for EFT. How much EFT work have you done on this?

Is the realization that my reality does not contain the money required to buy your six streams course mean that I am still not attracting abundance?

Only if you make it mean that. I have learned that it really is all about letting go of "when" the abundance comes. It will always come in accordance with your vibration, and if you give significant attention to the "fact that it's not there", you vibration will respond accordingly.

This can take some time and practice, and a lot of releasing with EFT or some other method. As long as you're committed to intentionally getting into vibrational resonance with a desire, you simply have to keep doing what you can to identify and release the resistance that's keeping it from you.

Is being frugal with money promoting more (non abundance)?

Not across the board. It depends on how you're approaching your frugality. If it's from a "I'd better be careful with what money I have, because there may be a time when I don't have any...", then frugality is definitely doing damage to your Abundance Attraction Mechanism! :-)

But if you (like my wife) sees being frugal as more of a game. "How can we play with money more efficiently?" or something along those lines.  If you delight in finding (or creating) a good deal on something, then most likely no damage is done.

I'm assuming the difference between those two is clear.

Is the fact that stuff like the repo is happening to me evidence of life collapsing around you as you mentioned when we first start to consciously use the law of attraction?

I think my quote on that gets taken out of context a lot. I want to be clear that it is not MANDATORY that your life "collapse around you", and in fact the events that can be interpreted as "collapse" can also be interpreted an infinite number of OTHER ways - except that our beliefs and opinions have been STRONGLY shaped over the years, and it's then very difficult to see a car repossession as a blessing or a gift, though there are many ways that they could be interpreted as such IN THE CONTEXT of a grander vision you're creating which REQUIRES the repossession in order for the next string of events to occur.

What I meant is that when you fully engage in this stuff, things WILL begin to change around you and the COULD be interpreted as "collapsing".

And yet another question revolves around faith.  I am a Christian and after watching the secret and What the Bleep do you know?  I have encountered some faith hurdles.  I was wondering if you had any suggestions.

Everyone in those films bring their own opinions to the table, as did I. It is up to the viewer to decide what they resonate with, and what seems right to THEM.  Because it's your OWN truth that shapes your reality and your ability to attract things. And YOU can decide that Truth in any given moment.

There is absolutely NOTHING about understanding and utilizing the Law of Attraction that "requires" any faith-bending. In our program I hope it's obvious that we stay away from that kind of thing. Our program is about the SCIENCE of this, because it's the science that makes it work.

What issues related specifically to the Law of Attraction give you the "faith" problems?

Thanks again for your help

Get busy with EFT on these feelings of fear, and any feelings that this is "too good to be true". Sounds like you have great momentum going. Don't reverse things by allowing your old "stuff" to affect your vibration.

Release, release, release!!

Winning the lottery because you "need" it

Not true. We're "doing" the Law of Attraction 24/7, whether it's intentional or not.

I'm sure you mean that we're learning to be more intentional about it because you have perceived "needs" that you want to have met utilizing this education. However, you MUST change your vibration from one of need to one of "having". The two are totally different, and not a resonant match. So as long as you're feeling need, you're going to be ATTRACTING need.

Focusing on winning the lottery because you "need" is, has got to be the slowest possible way to manifest it.

Your thoughts and feelings must be in alignment with those you expect to have when your financial resources are made abundant - by WHATEVER mean is most "energetically efficient" for its delivery.

Bob

You have FAR too many "expectations" with regards to the delivery of the money. Further you are very much in the vibrational space of "not having it". You may have your moments of being in resonance with it, but you're too quick to put a timetable on it, thus offering up immediate resistance to having it.

You're going to best benefit from learning to release your resistance. If you haven't already, check out:

Saving and Investing

>Bob, > >I'm curious. Could you direct me to some resources focusing on how >to handle money? I was intrigued by your comment that you "wouldn't >focus on saving money." If that were so, how to we act towards money >from a wealth beyond reason perspective in practical terms? Would >not saving money include not investing? The lines seem blurred to me somewhat. > >Thanks for any clarifications you could give.

This is a great question, and I'm happy to clarify my position on this.

As always, it's about YOUR vibration when you approach savings. If a person focuses on savings in anticipation of NEEDING that savings for an "emergency" or "for a rainy day", then they are vibrational resonance with the POSSIBILITY of an emergency or a "rainy day".

However, saving/investing can also be viewed as a joyous and effortless way to celebrate and enhance your abundance. When you save or invest to the point that you know you'll never have to worry about having money to facilitate the life of your dreams, then THAT is a totally different vibration and more in resonance with the wealth you're truly trying to attract in your life.

So saving and investing are great ways to maintain the vibration of abundance, IF that's the place you're in vibrationally when you approach your savings and investing.

Make sense?

It's ALL about your vibration, and that goes for anything.

Bad dreams...

Hi Bob,

Thank you for sending me this link... I'm still currently reading 'A Pocket Full of Money'... However, I have a quick question... ever since I started reading the Wealth Beyond Reason materials I have been having a really hard time sleeping and have been having a lot of bad dreams, mostly where people are trying to hurt me and I feel very scared in my dreams?

This kind of thing is quite common among some people, and understandable.

After all, this work - and getting more intentional about your life - can
bring up some very potent "stuff" with regards to limiting beliefs,
negative thought habits, and other thoughts and feelings related to
the things in your life that hold you back.

This sometimes manifests in elevated feelings of anxiety, fear, or even
anger (in fact I hear from a lot of people who suddenly start feeling
angry when they start this work). Bad dreams can also be a result.

In any case, this is why we have you start working with EFT from the
very beginning. You benefit greatly with a tool like this that helps
you neutralize those negative feelings.

Keep in mind that these feelings very often have several layers,
and it might take some persistence with EFT to get rid of them
totally...but it's worth it.

Definitely make use of the EFT resources in the program, and use
every audio teleseminar where we actually do the tapping, as a tool
for dealing with your own "stuff" about moving significantly forward
in your life. :-)

Never underestimate the power of EFT

There is such truth in your statements about EFT! I'm sharing them anonymously through the coaching blog - because everyone DOES need to understand what a powerful tool it is!

I was only really prompted to write to comment on EFT .....    This has caught me by surprise, and I am so over the moon with it, that I have been on another tangent and completely without realizing it, had forgotten how I got started with it...  I have had to check myself tonight and realize that I need to spend time manifesting as well....

EFT is going to make your program a total success...  the benefits of this are astounding...  the success I have personally been experiencing has caught me by total surprise... issues that I have been struggling with for a long time now, are no longer issues.  I have started to completely change my perspective on life....  I have lots more tapping to do....  I asked for something to come into my life to enable me to make the next step... and everything I touched kept pointing me back to your program...   and I have been given more than I asked for, to which I am truly grateful....

The results of my quest in such a small time, are truely astonishing...  EFT should NEVER be understated...  The possibilities that exist because of its use are almost god sent.  Literally...  This tool, and the ability to use it on us in our form, with such remarkable accuracy is eventually going to change the world we live in, as it was intended.

Using LOA to change careers

My recommendation is that you start using EFT on the suffering you're feeling with your current job. It won't serve you in attracting your performing career. You should certainly use that former suffering as a catalyst to focus your intentions and emotions on a career that involves performing, but don't put undue attention on the career that you're trying to escape - because you'll just be saying "Yes, there it is. It exists".

Again this isn't about "ignoring feelings" related to your job - or to live in denial that your current job is what it is. It's about RELEASING the negative feelings that you're allowing yourself to have about it so that the predominant percentage of your vibration is in resonance with what you LOVE, not what you don't.

Meditation and the purpose of visualization

I >am really enjoying the course and feel it is fantastic value. Thanks.

Part of the visualization process early on is to HELP you clarify your vision. At first, you probably will be very uncertain as to what you TRULY want as a specific result (in terms of manifesting "stuff") - and so you use this meditation time to help gain that clarify.

Having said that however, remember that what you're REALLY after is the end result of having that stuff. And that end result will be a FEELING you wish to have. So even more importantly than visualizing the specifics of the stuff, it's generating that feeling that you expect the stuff to bring.

The whole point of visualizing is to generate this feeling anyway - so if the "mixed signals" thing bothers you in some way, it's going to affect the vibrational state you'll allow yourself to achieve in the meditation. My recommendation is simply to ALLOW whatever thoughts and images pass through your thought, appreciate each one, and keep your emotions on the feelings that you think these things - however they end up looking - will bring you.

Hope this helps.

Dreams, Balancing this Work, and Negative EFT statements

At 12:34 PM 8/21/2006, you wrote:

1)  What do our dreams represent... the ones we have while sleeping?  From reading Happy Pocketful of Money, it would seem these things are happening in "a different parallel world".  I ask this because I had a very disturbing dream about my son last night, where he fell off of a cliff.  I woke up before anything horrible happened... but I didn't like that feeling! I was just wondering if our sleeping dreams mean anything.

In my opinion, dreams will only have an effect on your life if you allow them to by getting emotionally involved. However, I do believe that dreams tell us something about what's going on at a subconscious level - and give you great clues on where you might want to utilize EFT very intentionally in some areas of your life.

2) In Wealth Beyond Reason, you say that we should be tapping, visualizing, writing down our goals, meditating, etc, etc, etc.  All of which I am actively doing, and having a blast with, by the way.   But you also say that I should not dwell on this process, I should relax.  I guess I am having a hard time finding the balance in both of those statements.  It doesn't feel like "work", but I am spending a lot of energy and time on the process, and I am very sleepy, which I read in the forums is pretty common.  Your guidance here would be helpful.

I don't know that there IS a appropriate balance per se. You do it to the extent it's enjoyable and that it allows you get into vibrational resonance with what you want, and not a moment more.

3)  While I have read over and over the tapping guidelines, I still don't fully understand why you repeat a "negative" reminder phrase... it seems to defeat the purpose.  I almost feel like I am drilling that negative into my head, then trying to undo it.  Can tapping be effective if you only use the setup and then the positive phrases?

Yes it can, but remember that the idea of EFT is not to "dwell" on negative emotions. It's only to tune in on them so that Energy system is active, so you can "get at it" through the EFT process. The fact is, for many people the POSITIVE affirmation statements will bring up the negative feelings - that is, in fact, WHY you'd use positive statements in EFT...so that you can feel it when a negative response pops up in as you're saying positive things that you may not fully believe.

Hope this answers your questions. They were great ones!

EFT and "affirming" negative statements

As you get into the material, you'll find that we talk about this a lot.

If you have a particular issue that is causing resistance, the fact is that is it affecting your vibration whether you are "affirming it" or not.

The point of EFT is to NEUTRALIZE or balance that energy system so that the resistance is no longer there affecting your vibration. To do this, you first have to tune into the emotion associated with the resistance and then do the procedure.

It's not really like a traditional affirmation which you basically repeat all the time for days and days. You're only doing it for the EFT session, and then it's gone or greatly reduced.

And if it's NOT one of your issues - that is, the statement you're repeating for the purposes of doing the session is not currently affecting your vibration - the short amount of time that you're repeating the phrase for the EFT session is not going to have any kind of significant impact on your predominant vibration, and you're certainly not going to attract anything negative as a result.

EFT - How often? As often as possible!

Bob,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I guess I need to work on the EFT program more than 3 or 4 times a week. Maybe twice a day would work better. What are your thoughts on this?

To have success in attracting what you want, "releasing" has to be an ONGOING process. Quite frankly, it's not enough to set aside a few times a week to work on eliminating resistance because you want your predominant vibration to be in resonance with what you're trying to attract, and if the majority of your time is spent in a state of resistance, you're not going to be able to do that.

I utilize EFT ALL the time. After a while, you will learn to "tap without tapping", and still get similar results, so it's not like you have to constantly be doing the physical tapping all the time. However, ANY time you feel a negative emotion around an issue, IN THAT MOMENT is the best time to utilize EFT. It's not something you "set aside" for a later time...

If you truly want to eliminate the resistance that is LITERALLY repelling those things in your life that you want, then you must get into a system of releasing moment to moment - or at least when you are aware of a negative or limiting feeling.

EFT is so simple to use - and so quick - that this really is just something that can become habitual. You just have to start doing it on a regular basis, and the results you will start to get will give you the momentum necessary to make this a breeze. :)

Focusing on the "problem" with EFT

The whole point of EFT is that you're NEUTRALIZING that emotion/problem. If you don't do that, it's always going to be there whether you "Focus" on it or not, thus affecting your vibration. The idea isn't really that you're "focusing" on it, as "tuning into it" so that you can then eliminate it through EFT. You're just bringing to the forefront what is already there.

Thank you. Always fun working with Brad.

Why would you choose that as an affirmation? ;)

While I know that sounds a little tongue-in-cheek, you have to understand that under NO circumstances do I allow myself to talk like that UNLESS I'm actively doing an EFT session to LET GO of that kind of feeling.

I don't say those things to "communicate my perception to others", or for any other reason. I think the difference between me and many LOA students is that they WILL allow themselves to say things like that, because they acknowledge that as the way things are.

But they AREN'T except to the extent that you allow them to be.

>I sort of feel in >no man's land.

And you know what "feeling" that way will do, right?

I have no idea. Maybe there is no way. You'll know they're not if they come up again with another trigger of some kind. "Permanently" eliminating them isn't nearly as important as knowing how to neutralize them when they come up again.

>More importantly, now that I have my wish board very >clear in front of me, what have you found best as far as >letting go of these desires? I am finding it difficult at age >49, as I feel time is short.

Interesting how often you use the word "feeling" - followed by a statement that I'm relatively sure you DON'T want to be your reality.

These days, there's no reason to believe that you're even halfway through the journey yet, so saying that time is "short" isn't even close to true. Wonder why you'd feel that way?

Something to tap on, I think. :)

Since I (nor anyone else that I personally know) have any direct interaction with any past-life experiences, it would be pure speculation for me to address this. I DO know, however, that you have complete choice right NOW to affect your vibration. While you may have some resistance to take care of, you are certainly free, in my opinion, the attract whatever you desire now, regardless of what may or may not have happened "previously".

Your BELIEF that you may be dealing with karmic issues, however, can most DEFINITELY affect your vibration in the present and influence what you will be able to attract.

  1. If the couples together do the manifestation process does it speed up the result.

While I think that's possible you would be absolutely have to be on the "same page" vibrationally - and the fact is that nobody really knows what another person is vibrating, regardless of what they say. However, if you are working to manifest something that you both will ultimately share, and you are both in a similar vibrational place, it's possible it may speed things up a bit - but there are so many other factors at play, that I couldn't possible say that for sure.

  1. can one plan his next birth thru manifestation

Again, this is an area that I'm not qualified to address. My question to you is why you would be looking ahead to your "next birth" when you still have your entire life to experience RIGHT NOW?

  1. Can anyone use this technique for wrong purposes

Define "wrong". Ultimately, you're really only affecting YOUR experience. Anything anyone would do "to others" they are really - at a quantum level - only doing to themselves.

U have talked a lot about the benefits of E F T.But i feel repulsive whenever i use the technique on myself or when someone else works on me.The tapping procedure makes me feel irritated. Can u help me with this.

Sounds like you simply have resistance around the process itself. Have you ever tapped on this irritation?

EFT not "sticking"

for example, something would pop up as far as self worth lets say. The blocker would be well why do i feel that i should have this, someone else needs it more then me. I would clear it, feel good in that moment and even for the rest of the day. Then the next morning the same thing that I just cleared seems to be wearing me down

what the heck is going on?

It's not uncommon for EFT (or any releasing technique) to take some persistence. Sometimes it's knocked out in one shot, but very often - and depending on how deep-rooted it is, it can definitely take a few times. Different "triggers" are often associated with different aspects of the issue, and until you get to all of them, you won't experience 100% freedom from them.
Luckily, the process is easy enough to do, even repeatedly.
You might, however, start looking at what OTHER issues might be tied in with the ones you're working on, that perhaps you're "tapping around (avoiding)".
By chance have you looked at the EFT DVDs? These really get in-depth with how to get great results when progress seems slow. It's certainly not required that you get them, but I found them to be immensely helpful, information, and fun.
You might even try tapping on  something like:
"Even though these issues keep coming back even when I think I've cleared them..."

Getting the value out of what you purchase.

I had to smile a bit when I read your e-mail, because that always happened to me as well. Out of hundreds of items on the shelf, I'd pick the one with the broken or missing piece. And THEN I began to say out loud how that always happened to me...and thus I perpetuated it. I EXPECTED it, and thus I was in vibrational resonance with it, so what else could I possibly attract but the broken item?

I feel that on some level it may be something of a deserving issue, but I can't say that for sure in your case.

If you've worked with EFT at all, I would suggest setup phrases like:

"Even though I don't believe I deserve to get what I pay for..."

(I'm assuming you're familiar with EFT set-up phrases...)

"Even though I always have problems with my purchases...."

Things along those lines.

See what comes up for you, and if you tap into any specific emotion that is unpleasant, then tap on that as well.

My bet is that you're tapping "around" the real issues. There is clearly a lot of fear and resistance to success here. If you were to read your words as I am, it would be obvious what's happening. You are following the emotional path of your FEAR rather than the emotional path of success.

So do you not see how in alignment with that you are?

Then you still have lots of "stuff" in there that needs dealing with.

Give me some examples of the EFT set-up phrases you use.

How about:

"Even though I have so much fear and worry about someone or something taking it all away from me, I choose to fully accept my abundance..."

Focusing on a dollar amount

These "levels" that you speak about are probably YOU trying to figure out the "hows". In other words, you're thinking about logical steps, what would be possible, etc.

The fact is that you're focusing on a dollar amount, which I generally say not to do because it doesn't really mean anything. Rather than focus on $100,000 or $1,000,000, you should have your focus on what having that dollar amount will facilitate for you...how your life will be different when you have it. Ideally, you have a vision of a life you want to create. Most of the time, we don't really know what exact dollar amount will ultimately be spent on realizing that vision, so there's no sense in putting our attention there.

What we want to attract is what we're going to DO, BE, or HAVE as a result of having that money.

Burning Question(s) about LOA / Discrepencies?

At 07:43 PM 4/16/2006, you wrote:

Hi Bob,

I have made tremendous improvements in my life and income since being a part of your Wealth Beyond Reason course.  Thank you for being the first to introduce me to the Law of Attraction!  My life has never been the same because of it.

Wonderful. :)

Anyway, I have a burning question that has been lingering in the back of my mind for quite some time now, one that has been blocking me to dream really, really big, of which I hope you will give me insight to.

Is it really true that we can have absolutely anything we desire - each and every one of us?

For instance,

What about situations where there can only be 1 winner at a time, such as the American Idol?  I would assume that all of the contestants are visualizing being the winner, want it real bad, and believe they deserve to win, but there's only one winner per season.

Because someone "wants" something and does all the visualization, etc. does not mean they are in vibrational resonance with it. We as "outsiders" have no idea what any one person is really vibrating with regards to winning such a contest - what areas of resistance they may have - what doubts and fears they have - whether or not winning this contest is ACTUALLY what they want, or something they perceive to be on the other side of it.

And to really complicate things, the fact is we have no idea what's REALLY going on "out there" at a quantum level. For all we know, WE are interpreting "A" winner out of this Ocean of Energy, and in this Infinite Universe of ours, everyone truly might win.

It can get mind-boggling, which is why it's much better not to give too much time and Energy to why OTHER people may or may not attract the way WE think they want to. It's not our place. We're better off just focusing on OUR attraction, rather than trying to figure out anyone else's.

What about a woman who wants to be a supermodel, but is 300 pounds and only 4 feet 8 inches tall?

A woman who wants to be a supermodel under those conditions has some resistance to work through. It is not impossible. However, most likely such a person would have a difficult time getting into vibrational resonance with "Being" a supermodel, when their current physical condition appears so much different.

Again though, what do they REALLY want, that they think being a "supermodel" will give them? And what areas of resistance might they have around that?

What about a blind man who dreams he has sight but remains blind for the rest of his life?

Again, WE can't know what this hypothetical man is really vibrating about having sight...

What about the man who wants his ex-girlfriend back so badly he has visualized it and felt it as being real, but then she wants nothing to do with him?

What this person generally wants is the FEELING associated with that relationship - or a feeling he WISHES could be associated with THAT person. The fact is that feeling can come from an infinite number of people, but he is ATTACHED to it being with THAT person, who is not currently in vibrational resonance with that same vision. Again, it's about knowing what a person REALLY wants - and we just can't really know that.

I hope these examples illustrate what I'm getting at.

They do, but they all go back to US trying to interpret OTHER people's attractions, which unless we're working with them to find the areas of resistance that are keeping them where they are, is really a waste of our time.

A possible reply I can think of is that the one who wins or achieves their dream allowed it in the most or believed it the most or had the least resistance … but, that doesn’t feel like a fulfilling enough answer to me but rather an easy answer.

And why should the Law of Attraction be more complicated than that? What kind of answer would satisfy you, and WHY do you feel that a more complicated answer is necessary? (These are rhetorical questions that you might want to look at.)

There have been many times where I’ve heard people say they have achieved success far bigger and greater than they had believed or dreamt of or thought of.  So … how was it that they were able to attract and amass great wealth and success.

Because belief is only one part of what creates our vibration. Lots of people say, "I can't believe I did it", but they still took the necessary steps to become in vibrational resonance with their desire, regardless of what they were CONSCIOUSLY thinking.

And, I know of many people who are really wealthy but who suffer from low self-esteem, etc.  How is it that they are able to allow great wealth into their lives?

Because the ability to attract money has nothing to do with self-esteem. And how "wealthy", really, is a person who does not enjoy their own life because of self-esteem issues. Money is not wealth, remember.

These discrepancies are hanging around in the back of my mind and I would really appreciate your take and insight on this.

I hope I've helped clarify my position on these things. Great questions, and I'm sure many others have them as well.

:)

Debt of $50,000

i know its not going to be easy for me i have difficulty visualizing. My present problem is my $50000 debt and how to get rid of it. Give me something i can do today to visualize paying off every penny. This will give me joy and peace of mind.
Pretend for a few moments that the debt IS completely paid off. What would you do? How would your daily thought processes change? What would you create for yourself? What does a life of "joy and peace of mind" look like to you? It's important that you know the answers to these types of questions, because you have to find an emotional "anchor" that is associated with your VISION, rather than constantly thinking about the "reality" of your debt, and trying to figure out how to eliminate it. I'm telling you that the longer you can generate the feeling associated with what you want, the more quickly you will attract the circumstances (but you'll want to be paying close attention for them) that will make that freedom from debt a reality. Action will most likely need to take place, but you'll recognize the RIGHT action as it will feel more inspired. Along the way, you will meet up with resistance, and possibly a lot of it. This is the worst time to QUIT. You simply must forge ahead, using EFT or some other procedure to release those negative feelings and beliefs as they arise...and you must do this consistently and with persistence. It won't feel like so much "work" after a while, but you do need to start somewhere... Bob

Prioritizing, lost your job

Sorry about the lack of response. You're right that I have thousands of students, and with the launch of The Secret, things have gotten extremely active over here.

I've reached a point where I can't always answer e-mail personally anymore, which is why I try to create as many coaching-related resources on the site, such as the coaching seminars and the coaching e-mail blog, both in the members section of the site.

With regards to prioritization: I have always simply done what I wanted to do in the moment the most, TRUSTING that I'm being drawn in that direction for a reason. Perhaps in simply following the desire in the moment, I will be brought to exactly the place I need to be to attract the my ultimate desire, whatever that may be at the time.

You have to feel GOOD about doing this, or you defeat the purpose completely. For example, you have a belief that this is all for the Higher Good, but yet it's "tough in the moment". If "tough in the moment" is your belief and feeling about your "now", then what do you think you're attracting more of right now?

Now is the time for you to decide what you want to do for income for the rest of your life. My strong advice to EVERYONE is that you start a business of your own, based on the things you love to do.

I know that's a big step - perhaps a big mental leap - and we actually have a program designed to help you develop multiple online streams of income based on the Law of Attraction, called the Six-Figure Streams program (though I'm not recommending that you take that now if spending money is a "stressor" at this time...)

Hopefully, you're doing EFT around the anxiety that might be cropping up. Releasing will be the only way you can get a clear vision of the future you TRULY want to create at this time.

Does this address your question?

EFT and the Experiential Meditation

I do not, but the best possible combination is the Experiential meditation while tapping.

The short answer is yes, but I don't advise "rushing things". In other words, don't progress to new sessions unless you have significantly lowered your emotional intensity level for each issue, preferably to a zero.

There are no rules. Imagine whatever you need to, to achieve a joyous state. :)

First, know that it's not written in stone that things will get worse before they get better. This happens as a result of resistance showing up. Your financial situation is CHANGING but your interpretation (based on the evidence) is that it's getting worse, and you are allowing yourself to believe that, and FEEL that, thus you PERPETUATE that.

If you are focused on an inspiring vision - if you are using the Experiential Meditation or in some other way regularly bringing up the feeling that you have the life you desire NOW, and IF you are regularly releasing negative thoughts and feelings as they arise with EFT, then you can be sure that you are headed in the right direction.

It is only when you entertain thoughts to the contrary, that you begin to attract thusly. Try not to interpret what's happening as "bad" under any circumstances. Stay focused on what you want as opposed to interpreting the "evidence" as bad or negative.

There are no "rules" along this lines. The goal is to generate a vibration that is consistent with what you want. You'll know how effectively frequent meditation allows you to do that.

M2S and Great EFT Questions

1-     I received a link for you Multi Media Seminar (M2S) New program of yours. Is there anything special or it's the same as your WBR Materials??

I was just about to send out an e-mail on that. It's based on the WBR materials, and doesn't really "add" anything, as much as it explains things in a very structured and clear way, all in one program, rather than scattered amongst the numerous resources in the Wealth Beyond Reason program.

http://video.wealthbeyondreason.com

2-     EFT. Oh my God.. Nowadays there are so many versions of EFT (Gary Craig with the 9 Gamut, Carol Look, Brad Yates, etc…I have them all ) What is the shortest way to apply EFT. I have almost every single information on EFT and E-books. I am confused now. Some suggest Negative rounds then positive rounds..On the other hand some suggest clearing the negative is enough. Based on that, Which EFT program you suggest the most as the shortest and most practical? Do you still use the 9 Gamut?

I no longer use the 9 gamut, and for that matter 90% of the EFT I do, I do "mentally" without tapping. This is something we talk about in an interview with Carol Look, and a process that I think is worth learning to do, or at least experimenting with. It can speed the process up, make it less "cumbersome", and still is highly effective (for me, at least!)

3-     I applied Carol Look 30 day Clearing program. Carol book is great…Got some results, but still I am not able to identify my blocks.. They are not clear to me. What is the easiest way to find or define the blocks?

Just look around at the areas in your life where you haven't been able to manifest change. There will be feelings associated with noting these areas. Tap on those feelings, because they're tied into whatever your blocks are. In other words, it's not mandatory that you "know" specifically what the blocks are...just what feelings are generated by them.

4-     Moreover I am getting bored using EFT .. It's becoming like monotonous and tedious especially when you do not know for how long you are going to tap on one issue or when you are not sure what is the issue. What's your best advice for this issue?

Again, try the "tapless" method. Also be aware that boredom of the process is very likely tied to RESISTANCE in some area that you might be either working on, or need to - but don't want to.

5-      What's the best way to put a plan to tap on one single issue (3 times for 3 days or 5 times for 10 days or 3 rounds for 1 day…I don't know.. what do you suggest??)

I tap whenever I can, when I'm truly tuned into the feeling that I need to release. I don't "plan" EFT. It's most effective when done IN the moment of emotional unrest.

Hope these have helped answer your questions!

Sorry for any confusion. Let me try to clarify:

1. The EFT manual gives you the basics of the procedure. That, along with the audio provided as part of the Wealth Beyond Reason program, should get you started with confidence. If you want to get a little more serious about your EFT education, the DVD training videos are available at the main EFT site where you downloaded the manual:

http://eft.wealthbeyondreason.com

2. The list of things you desire is something you should always be adding to, and evolving. The purpose of making the list is to generate the feelings that are vibrational resonance with having what you desire to attract, so you can look at it daily if that excites you, and helps you maintain that particular vibration, or you can simply write it down and put it aside, moving on to NEW lists that occur to you.

You can certainly use them in conjunction with your meditations.

There is certainly no Universal "rule" against trying to manifest a lottery win or attract money, though most of the material in the WBR program does discourage it. The reason is that "large amounts of money" generally generate a great deal of resistance in people. It triggers issues related to deserving, beliefs about "hard work", and a long list of other things. Unless a person is dedicated to releasing their resistance in these areas, their likely to simply have too MUCH resistance to be able to attract these things by going after them directly.

Having said that, one with very little resistance may not have any problem at all - and now that you've had a win, you might be all that much closer to a bigger one. :)

Which is more effective? EFT or Sedona Method?

Hi Bob,

Do you know if the Sedona Method is any good?  Is EFT better?

I have used, and like both. For some people (myself included) EFT seems
to work faster/better simply because intellectually I know something is
"going on" physically ie, tapping on meridian points.

I think actually that the Sedona Method is more effective for me than it was
because through EFT, I truly know what releasing "feels like".

Still, EFT is my preferred method - but that doesn't mean it's more effective
across the board. It's just my opinion based on my experience. :)

What is a Gratitude List?

Hi Bob,

you speak in an lecture of the „gratitude list“, but I don´t see the information about this…can u please elaborate…

I actually do believe I address this list in detail in a couple of places, including the step-by-step documents, but basically a Gratitude List is a document that you create where you list EVERYTHING - big and small - that you are grateful for. This is an exercise that works wonders on so many levels because of what it does to your vibration.

For a great example of how a gratitude list, log into the Discussion Area dedicated to this topic:

http://www.boundlessliving.com/wealth/bb/viewforum.php?f=12

This should clear that up for you! ;)

Because the Law of Attraction is not about money. It's about attracting in vibrational resonance. You don't have to be "nice" to attract money. You don't have to do good. You simply have to be a person who is in resonance with having money. It doesn't mean they are happy, or truly "wealthy". We all have different "set points" with regards to money. A person who doesn't have particular issues around money may have no trouble attracting it - but this doesn't mean they have a quality life, feel free, are happy or healthy, or anything else - other than they are vibrational resonance with having money. It's not a "requirement" that people give to get money. It's simply that when you do give freely, you are putting yourself in vibrational resonance with "having it to give" which means you will continue to attract it. But giving is not the ONLY way to attract money.

One way to approach a list of many goals.

1 - I've been trying to figure out how to get my hands around my list of goals on a daily basis.  If I have 100 goals, do I pick the 2 or 3 I want to manifest first and then go thru the experiential meditation every day (or twice a day) for each one individually (which would take some time) or maybe try and combine all of them into one meditation?

2 - What do I do with the other 97 goals in the meantime?  Just review the list each day?

Given that there is no ONE WAY to do all this "correctly", you really have to find a process that feels right and fun to YOU. Yes, you could start with 2 or 3 if you wanted to, but I think that if you look at all your goals, you're going to realize that if all of them were suddenly manifested, it would result in a very distinct feeling for you.

Imagine for a moment what it would be like to have that whole list complete. What would that feel like? Would you have peace? Feel prosperous? Healthy? A combination? The point is, in any given MOMENT, you're going to have a feeling, which could be something of a conglomeration of many feelings that you could analyze individually, but are actually resulting in one overall feeling in the moment.

THAT FEELING is the one you want to tune into. After all, THAT'S the ultimate goal that you feel that attracting all the individual items is going to accomplish. If you can generate and hold that ONE FEELING - that you consciously and unconsciously know is linked to all of those list items, you'll be on the fast track to having them ALL realized, or at least the ones that will most efficiently and speedily bring you to that ultimate "feeling goal".

Hope this makes sense.

Experiential Meditation for Relationships / Goofing Around

At 10:06 PM 11/15/2005, you wrote:

Hi Bob,

I've been using the Experiential Meditation over the past few days as one means of renewing a very special friendship with a female friend and her daughter, both of whom are very important to me and whom I miss greatly. Imagine my chagrin last night when I noticed that you recommend the E.M. for manifesting material objects rather than enhancing relationships!!

I certainly didn't intend to discourage you from using the Experiential Meditation in whatever way you'd like! If you can use that meditation to get into vibrational alignment with a healed relationship, then by all means do so! It's just that the nature of the mediation lends itself more to "physical" objects - but I didn't mean that it's no good for other things!

Now having said that, remember that when you're talking about relationships, you're talking about the vibration of other people - and you're not going to have a direct effect on that! You most likely won't change another person's feelings about you simply by meditating - however you can change YOU, and thus how you occur to others.

I just want to be sure that you're focusing on the overall feeling you're hoping to obtain by mending this relationship, and not on changing another person's view or feelings toward that relationship.

BTW: got very amused at the your bio on the last page of your WBR book which I finished last night...something about one of your passions being "goofing around" and that you "...recommend goofing around as much as possible"!! Couldn't agree more, and when my financial investments on the 'Net begin to pay out next year (as I fully expect them to do!!), I'm going to implement the goofing around regimen into my daily life.

Be careful about setting up a vibration of "I'll have fun WHEN....". You're putting a lot of life on hold when you decide not to live it NOW. After all, you want the vibration of your ideal life to be in the NOW, not in the future. I highly recommend integrating some "goofing around" into your life as it is right now!

Despite results, resisting EFT.

Your suggestions and explanations are very much appreciated and needed.  I have been working with the EFT and now I have begun resisting it.  I am not sure why I am doing this because I do feel better when I do the process.  This makes no sense; unless I want to hang on to my old stuff???  What do you think?

This is very common - happens to a LOT of people. A lot of times it's the ego sensing "change" that it is unfamiliar and thus uncomfortable with, so it starts coming up with all these reasons NOT to go forward, or other forms of resistance.

The simplest thing to do is simply to tap on the resistance itself:

"Even though I don't feel like doing EFT right now...."
"Even though I'm scared of actually getting the results I truly want...."
"Even though success frightens me and makes me uncomfortable..."
"Even though I don't know how I'm going to handle all the new changes..."

These types of setup phrases might help, and you may be able to come up with some on your own intuitively. :)

Using The Flightwaves Audio

If you really want to understand what's going on with the Binaural Beat technology, and how it interacts with your brain to induce a specific brainstate, you will find TONS of material by simply doing a Google search on "Binaural Beats". You'll learn much more doing that than having me try to fully explain it. :)

>as I am listening to them as well as if I should be concentrating on >a visual image or just letting my mind wander.

Either one is fine. Flightwaves is a tool to use for achieving a meditation state. What you do with it is your choice. There is a workbook download that accompanies those files which provides a specific process to follow. You can choose to use that one, or any other.

A very powerful way to use this is outlined in the "Processes" section of the web site. Basically, that is to utilize the meditation WHILE visualizing with feeling those things you want, all the while doing the EFT process! This automatically brings up and neutralizes limiting feelings and beliefs associated with that particular desire while being in strong vibrational resonance with what you want. This is what will accelerate your manifestation results.

As much as I'd like to give you "The" answer, I can't - because I don't really know what's going on with your vibration - that perhaps YOU'RE not even aware of consciously.

I would say to do some EFT around doubting your intuitive responses, then using the practice as you have, and then just try trusting and letting go of second-guessing. My sense is that you'll gain clarity around whether to trust the process at any given time or not. :)

But if you REALLY can't let go of wondering whether to trust the results are not, then perhaps it's not a technique for you right now. You might come back to it with a whole different level of trust at some point in the future.

EFT and tapping on Positive Statements

Bob,
I have experienced that EFT definitely works (using Gary Craig's method) and my question comes from a different perspective.  I'd like to know why you do the "positive reinforcement" while tapping.  After all, tapping on the meridian points bring to the surface the emotions that stem from some belief and/or experience and releases the "charge" from whatever resides in that meridian point...and that resonates from what often ties into subconscious/hidden beliefs and experiences.  Why should I release the "charge" of a desirable emotion or belief or experience, either on a conscious or subconscious level?

When we tap, we're not releasing positive emotions. We're balancing the system in general, so we are more free to feel our natural state, which IS Joy! So without the negative emotions, we feel more bliss all the time.

We tap on positive statements because they tend to pick up and expose any "yes, but"s at the end most affirmations. "Yes, but it will take a long time to get there..." Any hidden negative thoughts associated with that affirmation comes to the forefront when you previously wouldn't even think to tap on them.

I wondered the same thing at first, but after it was explained, I totally got it.

Bob

Having an affair devastated his vibration....

>Dear Bob, > > >I am really struggling at the moment. Maybe if you will bear with me >on this, I will find guidance through you. > > >I was so happy, what did I do? I know you will have trouble >believing this as surely there are no such stupid people on this >earth as me for this, but, I went and had an affair.

The way describe this tells me a lot about why you are where you are. As you suggest, you most definitely ARE punishing yourself for this action. When you call yourself "stupid", etc., then you are certainly not feeling deserving of wealth or happiness. This way of thinking serves NO ONE.

You are ALLOWED to forgive yourself and move on. You are where you are right now, and still have the ability to attract what you desire - but you've got to first let go of all this resistance that you've created for yourself through blame and guilt.

This is where a releasing technique like EFT, covered extensively in the program, can really help. This guilt is a very strong emotional "magnet" to circumstances that will only serve to perpetuate that guilty feeling, and/or magnify it.

I understand that it's hard to feel good about yourself when you see yourself as one who has caused tremendous pain and turmoil. But you need to let it go, or you'll truly be stuck until you do.

I would immediately start with EFT and use setup phrases like:

"Even though I cheated on my wife and wrecked our lives, I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

That right there will probably bring up a TON of stuff to tap on.

"Even though I feel this tremendous guilt which I deserve, I choose to let it go anyway..."

Now remember that saying these things to yourself tends to fly in the face of conventional "positive self-talk" thinking. However, you're doing this in CONJUNCTION with a physical technique which will actually neutralize those negative feelings that come up, and begin to melt the resistance that you have built in various areas, due to this action you took.

"Even though I feel terrible about what I did, I choose to forgive myself."

Please carefully consider taking these suggestions to heart.

How did my sister attract all this stuff??

At 10:35 AM 11/6/2005, you wrote:

My question has to do with existing debt as I move along. I know you've addressed this before. But I'm still confused. I have a copy of one bill tacked above my screen where I wrote PAID IN FULL- THANK YOU!. When I do the meditations, sometimes I focus on the feelings of being debt-free, being grateful for being free of debt (and sometimes on the things I want). I'm basically pretty happy with my life, my house, relationship, career, free time, etc.- the one thing  want is freedom from debt, but I'm afraid from what I've read that focusing on that will interfere. Isn't focusing on the *freedom* aspect OK? It makes me feel really good?!

The "freedom" feeling is GREAT. However, I think many tend to follow that through with thoughts of "Freedom from...." and then they "remember" what they're trying to escape and the negative feelings come back - so it's this constant teeter-tottering from one vibrational state to another that slows down the process.

Have you tried your releasing methods while doing the meditation?

One more question/comment. My sister is taking the opposite tack that I am. She's exhibiting a lack mentality and has instituted a strict, frugal, budget for herself (she feels poor even though she makes WAYYYYY more than me!) denying herself things she likes. She uses this envelope system. So what does she get? Her boss bought her a new Land Rover out of the blue (she didn't even want one), an iPod (she hasn't opened), free landscaping for her home (which is her big love), another landscaper offered her a job at 150% salary, etc. I'm like- huh?! I'm really happy for her and am trying to help her with her receiving beliefs, but how does that happen, when by LOA, she should have been attracting a layoff, and other "bad" things.

But you are trying to define for HER what are good or bad things. Plus, no matter WHAT a person says, or even how the behave on the outside, we will never / CAN never know exactly what a person is vibrating. All I CAN say is that the fact that she has attracted these things entirely appropriately based on her vibration.

Remember, she probably has a very different "set point" than you with regards to income, etc. These types of things happening in her life are simply more easily allowed for her than you at this point, but it's just about her life up to this point (granted, your sisters and may have had a very similar upbringing, but interpretations throughout your life could have been quite different). You had YOUR life up to this point, which determines for you what YOU define as wealth, happiness, etc.

As for YOU and your idea of writing an e-book to generate revenue, my immediate thought for an e-book for you is in Dog Training. A good how-to e-book with illustrations, and some nice testimonials from clients, would most likely create a nice little income stream for you which could grow quickly.

The other stuff is much more esoteric as you know, and it often takes longer to find your audience. Trust me on this one. ;)
So I would say if you REALLY want to create an income stream, consider something in the "dog" area since you have natural expertise there, and knowledge that is immediately valuable to thousands and thousands of people.

THEN, when the time feels right to you, you write that other e-book! After you have some other income coming in, you'll most likely have more fun with the writing project and be more relaxed about it.

Yes, we're PreINtending in order to Attract

>Well, as far as I can remember I've read everything about the Law of >Attraction but the stuff that's happening right now in my life I >don't remember of thinking about them at all. I'm making less and >less money and I don't recall in my past I've been thinking about >making less money.

Remember though, strictly speaking, the Law of Attraction isn't responding to your thoughts - it's responding to your vibration, which is affected through your feelings. While I don't know enough about you to know what you might truly be vibrating about money, etc., I can tell you that there is most likely some level of resistance around money and your job, probably at a subconscious level.

This is where you use EFT to root that stuff out and get rid of it.

Assuming that you've familiarized yourself with the EFT process, you might create some set-up phrases like:

"Even though I'm not allowing myself to attract more money, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway." "Even though I'm stuck in a job I hate..."

Doing things along these lines will most like start to loosen up some feelings you have about these areas. Perhaps you'll be able to see how your vibrational attention has shifted towards attracting those things you don't want, and you'll be free to choose a new way of thinking and feelings. And be ready for ANYTHING to show up...and when it does, make a note to tap on it.

> I'm stuck in a job that I hate and I hear that you have to love > everything, now how can that be, wouldn't that be lying to > yourself, just pretending?

The whole "game" of creation starts with pretending. Most of us just "pretend by default". We "pretend" that our current situation is out of our control...we pretend we're undeserving....we pretend all kinds of things based on what we experience through our own lives. And this pretending is so realistic that we generate a very clear vibrational frequence with regards what we think is "Reality", and thus attract more of it.

Actually, we're not so much "pretending" as preINtending...setting forth an intention so strong that it manifests in our lives automatically. However, we're free to change what intention is, on every level. This is why we have imagination. We are free to create/attract anything we desire! However, we all have so much resistance in sometimes unimaginable areas, that it affects our ability to do different attracting possible - at first. But now we have a tool to go after that resistance in EFT.

> I can day dream about the stuff that I want all day, all night and > all years but nothing seem to be happening for me.

And if this is what you continue to tell yourself on a daily basis, it will most likely perpetuate. You MUST allow yourself to sit inside the feelings on a much grander vision, one in which the things you don't like about your life right now, absolutely don't exist, even as a memory! Yes, this takes practice and commitment, but ultimately is so worth it!

>I'm starting to believe in Karma, maybe thing was meant to happen >the way they are for me because I know I've tried to change but it's >not happening.

In no way do I believe this to be the case. You are ALWAYS free to choose your path, so you are always choose to attract it.

Focusing on the money...

Our suggestion to not focus on the money is definitely appropriate for many people because of the resistance they have around it. However, if your relationship with money is positive, and one that puts you in a vibration resonate with what you truly want, then that's fine.

Actually, the more we work with EFT, the more I think it's okay to go for the money - because now we have a tool to eliminate the "stuff". :)

Trouble with "Feelings" and releasing

Hi Bob. I have enjoyed your site and all the resources that you have provided. I have tried to do the e.f.t. exercises, but I am not feeling much of anything.  The Sedona method also asks a lot about feelings. I guess I am not that in tune with my feeling, so it makes a lot of these exercises, useless.

Actually, if you're truly not aware of your feelings, then you're going to have a heck of a time working with the Law of Attraction in general, since getting into vibrational resonance is all ABOUT your feelings!

Maybe you're expecting your feelings to "feel" a certain way. For the purposes of working with EFT or the Sedona Method, you just need to be aware of how you respond when you have a certain thought. It may not hit you like a ton of bricks, but you most likely WILL feel some kind of reaction.

Let me suggest this: Try to remember some times when you DID have some very definite feeling responses to some situations. If you can remember some negative ones, this will be a great opportunity for you to work with EFT when the feelings are more pronounced. There might actually be some event in your past that has "dulled" you to your feelings in certain areas. Perhaps it doesn't feel safe to experience your feelings, so you've kind of shut them down (this is just a theory of course).

You might do some tapping along the lines of "Even though I'm not allowing myself to feel my emotions in certain areas [be more specific if you can you come up with these areas where you aren't feeling things], I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Did you have trouble when you started, getting in touch with your feelings?

I think there are probably some areas where I block feelings, but for the most part, I just stay aware of how my physiology changes when a certain subject is brought up. If it's anything less than a good feeling, I know I've hit something I can work with.

I trade markets by computer in Nashville Tn. and I am torn between manifesting myself as a great trader, or concentrating on the stuff.

If trading brings you joy, then it's great to put your attention there...but if it just something you do because you feel it might bring you the "stuff", then it might be a reason that your feelings are "dulled".

But when you think about accomplishing your grandest goals, what is your immediate thought process? If it's anything OTHER than YES, IT'S SO MINE, then whatever DOES come up is something to tap on with EFT.

I have a book called Market Wizards. In the book they interview the top traders in the world to get insights into their thought process.  One of the traders admitted to the author that he meditated and connected himself to the flow of the markets. That trader had made hundreds of millions for his firm. Any suggestions would be appreciated

And are YOU working with the meditations that are part of the program? If so, how are you utilizing them?

The Power of Gratitude

Writing Goals for Network Marketing

I would not agree with this. No matter what anyone in your downline tells you about their goals, you'll NEVER really know they are truly vibrating about what they TRULY want in their lives.

What IS appropriate however, is for you to attract the most appropriate people into your downline...for example people that are truly as on fire as you are about this opportunity and who have grand goals and visions for themselves. But YOU cannot "wish" for them. You focus on what you want your experience to be - and attracting a great downline can be part of that. But you're wasting a lot of your own energy by trying to activate somebody else's "magnet"...because it simply won't work that way.

> But, what if >THEY don't believe they can or they don't mind their minds, etc. Is it >possible for my thoughts to overcome theirs??

If they don't believe in themselves, these are not the type of people you want to keep attracting into your organization. This will just mean a lot of UN-FUN work for you, trying to "change them". INSPIRING them is great, and should be a natural outcome of you doing what you love doing...but trying to "work on them" is most likely not why you got into this business.

Focus your vision to include enthusiastic people who are already motivated and have a sense of self-worth and belief in themselves.

It's common in network marketing for distributors to try and recruit anyone and everyone to build their organization. But in a traditional business, you wouldn't do that. You'd hire the most qualified. The same goes for network marketing, unless you really just like dealing with people's "stuff". :)

Spouse not supportive, Conflicting Information, & "Working Hard"

Thanks for helping to make my day. :)

Isn't that interesting that all is well, and yet he refuses to acknowledge it? One wonders what he's REALLY vibrating to in reality be okay financially, and yet express to the world that he is not. To me, I see potential for INCREDIBLE financial abundance if he could let go of the negative speech. I can only speculate why he might be doing that - so I won't. :)

In any case, while it might be hard for you to maintain your vibration with his talking, I can only recommend that you work on EFT or some other releasing technique consistently enough so that you become "immune" to what he says. Every time he says something that makes you feel badly, as soon as possible, you should release whatever feelings come up for you. It's a start anyway. Right now, I believe you have something of an expectation for him to react a certain way. Can you imagine how that expectation might affect your reality of him?

>2. Conflicting information.

I recommend that you listen to the audio seminar titled "A Review". We do talk about this. I'm not in 100% agreement with every author or resource I refer you to. However, I do try to make it a point to express WHICH areas I AM in agreement with them in, and then you can discern for yourself which areas don't resonate with you.

Remember that this is all about finding what works for YOU. Not EVERYTHING everyone says is going to be in resonance with who you are, or what you're open to receiving. If something makes you feel "negatively", then you can either disregard it completely, or do some releasing on the feelings that are brought up and then get a clearer picture of how you REALLY feel.

>3. I am in the process of enrolling in the XXXX XXXX xxxxx xxxx >program. How that will work out, I don't know - I've left it up to the >universe. If I do get in, great! If I don't, well the universe has another >plan for me and the business I desire to start up. But when I spoke to xxx, >(the guy who's helping me get into the xxxx xxxxxxx program) he said YOU ARE >GOING TO HAVE TO WORK REALLY REALLY HARD FOR THIS!!! Again, my vibration got >deflated.

I don't blame you. I can assure you that the creator of the program you're applying to would put it a totally different way. He would say that you will need to take a lot of inspired action to have this work, which is true. Follow your intuition and your passions. If it feels like work, it won't be fun for long, and your vibration will not be in resonance with the type of success you're looking for.

> I learned that using one of these is to clear out bad karma from >'bad' things you've done in past lives. Immediately upon learning about >this, I felt like "Oh no!! Now getting my desires is even MORE difficult >because I'm paying in this life for things I've done in other lives that I >don't even know about!!!!"

I'm not a "paying for past life mistakes" kind of guy. I have no scientific evidence to support it. I'm not discounting "past lives", but I AM saying that you have total control over your NOW vibration, and THAT'S what controls what you attract. In my opinion, possible "past life" mistakes can only affect you if the belief in their possibility affects your vibration.

Hope this has helped.

Attracting the right girl...

>Hi Bob, > >I've been enjoying your program and learning a lot from it. I can see >results in many aspects of my life, but the one aspect that hasn't gotten >results yet is my love life. I've come fairly close to attracting the right >girl into my life, but that's all it's been so far is close. I acknowledge >the closeness of a match and try to get positive from it. I know it's just >a matter of time before I meet my ideal girlfriend, but it's the strongest >of my desires now and has been for some time.

Just off the bat, it sounds like you might have a bit of attachment to finding this person, and at the same time resistance to actually finding her.

Attachment is really a form of resistance in that it affects your vibration in a way that keeps the object of desire at bay - and sometimes when you feel the closest to attaining it. When we get really close, we sometimes have thoughts of "Can this really be happening? Too good to be true! It can't possibly last!", or we start feeling like it's GOT to happen "or else", both of which create vibrations that will push them away.

> I figure my true ideal >romantic partner has to also be actively attracting me into her life, and if >she's not there yet, maybe that's the reason we haven't met yet. Anyway, >I'm going to continue working on myself, raising my vibration, and imagining >that I'm with my ideal girlfriend. I know it will happen soon.

Just be aware of that "it will happen soon" vibration. I know what you mean, but if you're vibrating that it's Just Around The Corner, then around the corner is where it will stay...

> I'm writing >to you in hopes that you'll be able to give me a "nudge" in the right >direction. One specific question I have for you is: Should I imagine every >detail about her that I can (i.e.: what her face looks like, hair color, >eyes, etc.) or just the feelings I have when I'm with her?

Do whatever it takes to generate the specific feelings you want to have when you're with her, but do NOT get too attached to the details, because you may visualize a blue-eyed girl to get you into the right vibrational state, but a brown-eyed girl might very well fit the bill, vibrationally. :)

Hope this helps!

Coaching request: Worry about the money and EFT methods

There are MANY different approaches to EFT, and Gary Craig embraces most of them particularly when they get results. You might listen to the call with Brad Yates (http://www.wealthbeyondreason.com/call.html) where we discuss the reasons for varying approaches to the EFT process.

>Now that I am no longer in the depths of despair and using EFT daily I could >do with advice on what else I should be doing on a daily basis. I am not the >most organised person and so I feel that I need help with this.

I recommend tapping on your "disorganization":

"Even though I have trouble prioritizing..." "Even though I feel as though my life is in disarray..."

>I have started my book of dreams and desires. When I start thinking about my >dream home I find that I have a lot of thoughts such as: > >* Where would the children go to school? >* If this can come to me by any means, someone might die in order for me >to have it. >* I am re-marrying but the children's father is just about to buy a house >around the corner from us. I would feel guilty about moving. >* Would I feel comfortable about living amongst the types of people who >would live near the house of my dreams. Would they be my type of people?

All of these issues are things you can tap on. Further, when you get yourself into vibrational state of HAVING these things, you want to make sure you're including the equivalent of a "for the good of all concerned" statement, and stop worry about "what if someone dies", etc.

>These thoughts make it almost impossible for me to get excited about my >dream house. I do get great feelings about our holiday home though. It is >the only thing I can actually visualise, feel, hear and smell.

Great! Just keep releasing on all the negative stuff that comes up, and soon you'll find your vibration and visualization much more "pure". :)

>As I said in a previous email, I find it difficult to know what it is that I >really want because I have concentrated on getting the money first. I can't >visualise my dreams without thinking that I must be making money somehow. >Then it's back to thinking about money again. Then I realise we haven't got >any.

"Even though I KEEP worrying about how I'll get the money..."
